How do I activate an eSIM on my iPhone 15 Pro Max?

1) Open your smartphone's settings.
2) Open the "Mobile Data" menu item there.
3) Go to the "Add eSIM" menu item.
4) Select "Other Options" there.
5) Open the "Use QR Code" function.
6) Scan the QR code from our email.
Note: If an error message appears, such as "eSIM cannot be added", the eSIM is usually still successfully installed, and the following steps can be continued from step 15). The eSIM will then usually be named "Secondary", "Business" or e.g. "Travel" instead of "BuddySIM".

8) The eSIM will now be automatically activated.

10) Now rename your eSIM (the so-called label).

12) Then select "Primary" for calls.
13) Also select "Primary" for iMessage & FaceTime.
14) Then select your "BuddySIM" for mobile data. "Switch Mobile Data" must be OFF.
15) Under "Mobile Data", the eSIM should now be selected as the line. Then open the eSIM tab (usually) under your phone number.
16) And activate data roaming on the eSIM.
17) Change the data mode to "Allow 5G".
18) Your BuddySIM is now active. 🎉
Under "Roaming (current period)" you will always see your current usage.
