How do I activate an eSIM on the Google Pixel 7 Pro?

1) Open your smartphone's settings.
2) Open the "Mobile Data" menu item there.
3) Go to the "Add eSIM" menu item.
4) Select "Other Options" there.
5) Open the "Use QR code" function.
6) Scan the QR code from our email.
Note: If you encounter an error message like "eSIM cannot be added", the eSIM is usually still successfully installed and the following steps can be continued from step 15). The eSIM is then usually named "Secondary", "Business", or for example "Travel" instead of "BuddySIM".

13) Select "Primary" for iMessage & FaceTime as well.
14) Then choose your "BuddySIM" for mobile data. "Switch Mobile Data" must be OFF.
15) Under "Mobile Data," the eSIM should now be selected as the line. Then open the eSIM tab (usually) under your phone number.
16) And activate data roaming on the eSIM.
17) Change the data mode to "Allow 5G".
18) Your BuddySIM is now active. 🎉
