Is the Xiaomi 17 Pro eSIM capable?

The Xiaomi 17 Pro is eSIM capable, allowing you to do without a physical SIM card. The eSIM can be added via the settings under "Network & Internet" or "Mobile Network" – either by scanning a QR code or by manual entry. Setting up your BuddySIM eSIM is conveniently done via QR code scan.

Note: The Xiaomi 17 Pro does not support automatic APN for some eSIMs (depending on the destination country).

An APN (Access Point Name) is the access configuration your smartphone needs to connect to your provider's mobile data network.

After activation, please go to "Manage eSIM" → "Edit Access Point" and enter manually:

• APN: data.esim
• Username: BuddySIM
• Password: (leave blank)
