How do I activate an eSIM on the Google Pixel 8 Pro?

1) Open your smartphone's settings.
2) Open the "Mobile Data" menu item there.
3) Go to the "Add eSIM" menu item.
4) Select "Other Options" there.
5) Open the "Use QR Code" function.
6) Scan the QR code from our email.
Note: If an error message appears, such as "eSIM cannot be added", the eSIM is usually still successfully installed, and you can continue with the following steps from step 15). The eSIM will then usually be named "Secondary", "Business" or, for example, "Travel" instead of "BuddySIM".

14) Then select your "BuddySIM" for mobile data. "Allow Mobile Data Switching" must be OFF.
15) Under "Mobile Data," the eSIM should now be selected as the line. Then open the eSIM tab (usually) below your phone number.
16) And activate data roaming on the eSIM.
17) Change the data mode to "Allow 5G".
18) Your BuddySIM is now active. 🎉
Under "Roaming (current period)" you will always see your current usage.

6) Add the eSIM.

6) Enter the code from our email. Use the Android format: LPA:1$"Your SMDP Address"$"Your Activation Code"
7) Then add the eSIM.

10) Select "eSIM 1" for Mobile Data.
11) Go back to Connections and open "Mobile networks".
