Is the Xiaomi 14 Pro eSIM compatible?

The Xiaomi 14 Pro is eSIM compatible, allowing you to forgo a physical SIM card. The eSIM can be added via the settings under “Network & Internet” or “Mobile network” – either by scanning a QR code or by manual entry. Setting up your eSIM from BuddySIM is conveniently done via QR code scan. 

Note: The Xiaomi 14 Pro does not allow for automatic APN for some eSIMs (depending on the destination country).

An APN (Access Point Name) is the access configuration your smartphone needs to connect to your provider's mobile data network.

After activation, please go to “Manage eSIM” → “Edit Access Point” and manually enter:

• APN: data.esim
• Username: BuddySIM
• Password: (leave blank)
