Is the Fairphone 6 eSIM capable?

The Fairphone 6 is eSIM capable, allowing you to use your mobile connection completely digitally and without a physical SIM card. The eSIM can be set up via "Settings" → "Network & Internet" → "SIMs" – either by scanning a QR code or by manual entry.

Setting up your eSIM from BuddySIM is conveniently done via QR Code Scan.

Note: The Fairphone 6 does not allow automatic APN for some eSIMs (depending on the destination country).

An APN (Access Point Name) is the access configuration your smartphone needs to connect to your provider's mobile data network.

After activation, please go to "Manage eSIM" → "Edit Access Point" and enter manually:

• APN: data.esim
• Username: BuddySIM
• Password: (leave blank)
