Is the Xiaomi 13 eSIM capable?

The Xiaomi 13 is eSIM capable, allowing you to forgo a physical SIM card. The eSIM can be added via settings under “Network & Internet” or “Mobile Network” – either by scanning a QR code or by manual entry. Setting up your BuddySIM eSIM is conveniently done via QR code scan.  

Note: For some eSIMs (depending on the destination country), the Xiaomi 13 does not allow automatic APN.

An APN (Access Point Name) is the access configuration that your smartphone needs to connect to your provider's mobile data network.

After activation, please go to “Manage eSIM” → “Edit Access Point” and manually enter:

• APN: data.esim
• Username: BuddySIM
• Password: (leave blank)
