Where Airalo, Saily, Holafly & co. are better
On price per gigabyte alone, BuddySIM is not the cheapest in any of the five countries. For 10 GB the cheapest is usually Nomad, followed by Ubigi, Saily and Airalo. If you want unlimited data, Holafly (or Saily/Yesim) is the better choice; BuddySIM offers unlimited only via the Day Pass and not in all countries.
Our recommendation
In our view, BuddySIM is the well-rounded choice for travellers who value German-speaking support, easy activation, hotspot and the No-Net-No-Pay guarantee and are not chasing the very lowest price per GB. If the lowest price is your priority, Nomad, Saily or Airalo are cheaper; if you need genuine unlimited data, go with Holafly.
