According to official and unofficial sources (e.g. donanimhaber.com, mobiflip.de and Reddit), the following providers, including the following, are blocked in Turkey:
Officially, the BTK does not comment specifically on this. However, it is likely that the blockage was due to regulatory reasons — for example because providers do not have locally registered network licenses in Turkey or do not pay taxes in the country. Some experts also suspect geopolitical or economic interests behind the decision. In forums such as Reddit Some users report that even activated eSIMs suddenly no longer work — while others report that only websites or apps are blocked. The situation is therefore uneven — This increases the risk of technical problems for travelers with some providers.
