Is Fairphone 6 eSIM capable?

The Fairphone 6 is eSIM capable and allows you to use your mobile connection completely digitally and without a physical SIM card. The eSIM can be accessed via “Settings” → “Network & Internet” → “SIMs” Set up — either by Scan a QR code or by manual input.

Setting up your eSIM from BuddySim is conveniently carried out via QR code scan.

Note: The Fairphone 6 allows for some eSIMs (depending on the destination country) no automatic APN.

An APN (access point name) is the access configuration that your smartphone needs to connect to your provider's mobile data network.

After activation, please go to “Managing eSIM” → “Edit access point” and manually enter:

• APN: data.esim
• username: BuddySim
• password: (leave empty)
